Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms", "Terms of Use") carefully before using the QR & Barcode Scanner mobile application (the "Service") operated by QR Code ("us", "we", or "our").


1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Service.


2. License & Use

We grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the application strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.


You agree not to:


Use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.


Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app.


Modify, translate, or create derivative works based on the app.


Use the app to scan or generate QR codes containing malicious links, viruses, or harmful content.


3. Privacy & Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. The app processes scanning data locally on your device. We do not store your scan history on our servers. You are solely responsible for backing up any data (e.g., scan history exports) to your own storage.


4. Third-Party Services

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services (e.g., when you scan a QR code that opens a URL) that are not owned or controlled by us.


We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party websites or services.


You acknowledge and agree that we shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused or alleged to be caused by or in connection with the use of any such content, goods, or services available on or through any such websites or services.


5. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or course of performance.


We do not warrant that the app will function uninterrupted, secure, or available at any particular time or location.


We do not warrant that any errors or defects will be corrected.


We do not warrant that the results of using the scanner (e.g., decoding accuracy) will meet your requirements.


6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall QR Code, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:


Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;


Any content obtained from the Service; and


Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.


7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will try to provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
